Linking and Amplifying User-centered Networks through Connected Health (L.A.U.N.C.H): Kentucky Demonstration Project is a public-private partnership born as a response to blue ribbon reports recognizing connected health and technology as a means of improving cancer care. The L.A.U.N.C.H project’s approach to people-centered design and sustained community collaboration complements Appalachian Kentucky’s unique culture and history, providing an unique opportunity to leverage connected health solutions in a region with both heightened need and an ethos of community-based, grassroots problem-solving.
